The Northbrook Arts Commission was established in 2002 to "Encourage greater cooperation between governmental organizations, not-for-profit corporations, and individuals to promote the arts, assist in village arts initiatives, and provide a convenient vehicle for applying for and overseeing the administration of grants and other funding initiatives."
